OK I really don't want to spend time complaining about this but it's seriously to that point. My girlfriend insists I'm just a speed demon and have road rage but I digress. Sure, I do like to drive fast and I can have road rage but it's often warranted. I don't drive a whole lot. Maybe 200 miles a week and that's 90% just to pickup my girlfriend and take her home. We spend around 5 days a week together. So I'm on the highway a lot. I see some stupid shit al... (post trimmed)

This weekend we'll be having both the TUF season 9 finale and the Strikeforce ShoMMA Challenger series. Both cards are free for those with cable (and of course Showtime for the Challengers series) so DVR them or watch em live. There should be quite a bit of nice fights on both cards. Also, the Challenger series card has some veterans on it which should make the card even better. Not much else to say really. I'll probably blog about one of the two cards after I watch them.

So it was a jammed packed weekend on the virtual battlefield. I played way too much Call of Duty World at War, but that's not my fault. They extended the double xp by one day. So what started as a 4am "I'll play till they stop at 9am" turned in to so many hours of playing (because they didn't shut it off) that it's almost embarrassing how long I sat there owning noobs. Now, I like to own noobies like everyone, but not the low level guys. No one cries harder t... (post trimmed)

UFC 99 - The Comeback was very dissappointing. There were two decisions that I feel were complete and utter crap, one more so than the other. The card opened with Marcus Davis vs Dan Hardy. This was IMO the fight of the night. What a great opening fight. It was back and forth with lots of brutal shots and just all around good fighting. Hardy got the nod, but I don't think there was much of a loser in this fight. Setting the stakes this high wasn't too good thou... (post trimmed)

I signed up for GameFly last Monday. I've thought about it for a while, and finally decided too many games I've bought weren't worth but a fraction of the price. Anyways... I had originally played the demo of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune through a free download on the Playstation Store. I really liked it so it was my first game I got from GameFly. Well, as you know (if you've played the demo or anything) the game is... (post trimmed)

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is putting on a solid card tommorrow. "The Comeback" is an extremly fitting name for this card. The card itself is pretty solid with lots of big names and I'm anxiously awaiting it to be time to watch. You know, it's been quite sometime since we've seen both Wanderlei Silva and Mirko Cro Cop on the same card. Both are two of my favorite fighters ever. Infact, ... (post trimmed)

Finally, we're getting a double experience weekend for call of duty world at war! I've been waiting for a few weeks for this. It's supposed to start today (hasn't yet, even though it says it has..) with the launch of the new Map Pack 2 -- I won't be buying this map pack. I've got little interest because the last one only had one good map in it and there's too many issues with the game yet to be resolved. Some are supposed to be with the new patch, bu... You see them everywhere, along side of tons of people preaching about one or the other but none of it makes much sense in practicality ecspecially if everyone decided we're in web 2.0 now -- which I also don't agree with but maybe that's another blog post entirely. For now, I want to focus on my latest issues with Javascript/AJAX and the theories of progressive enhancement and graceful degredation. We'll start with PE. Progressive Enhancement is the f...
