So tonight was the season finale of Dexter. It's been one hell of a great season. I thought season 3 was intense, but damn, Mister Lithgow you rock.

Yeah, so, I broke my PS3 the other day trying to clean it. I've isolated the issue to when inserting a disc it doesn't properly get seated in to the reading mechanism(ish) thing. So you put it in, it makes the 'insert noise' about 5 seconds to long and I got no top right loading icon.
Of course, if the PS3 wouldn't of stopped reading all my discs I would of never had to take it apart, AGAIN! Afterall, I'm pretty damn sure I just latest nba scores free, and updated in real time.

UFC 104 was a good card with a piss poor ending. If you've been watching MMA as long as I have you probably know that the Ricco vs Nog fight is often called the biggest screw job in MMA, well, not anymore.

I have just fixed a ridiculious bug in the blog browser. When you requested a category (ie, Games) it would display mini version of the post, but I also was parsing out the blog codes in the mini version which created the issue of sometimes not completing a tag due to the post being truncated.
For example, it may of started a bold word or phrase but the post was trimmed before the closing bold tag could be added, thus messing up virtually all markup below and even excluding some posts comple... (post trimmed)

All because Josh Barnett has tested positive for some steroid or something or the other. This sucks for many reasons. First off, Affliction doesn't put out but a few shows a year, and the last one was a while back. This isn't good for that reason alone. Secondly, we have the Fedor vs Barnett fight. I can relate. Correction, I used to be able to relate. I've finally fixed my PS3. It's as good as new. Did the Maxell lens cleaner do it? Unfortuantly, no. It did make a cool sound, but I think my problem wasn't dust. More on that later.

I've been having some issues for the last month or so (around the time I finished up Drake's Fortune). It often isn't recognizing discs and when it does they play barely but generally not at all. It takes constantly retrying (I'm talking 30minutes or so here people...) to get it to work. Then, during play, the sound will loop/skip/go completly out. This weekend we'll be having both the TUF season 9 finale and the Strikeforce ShoMMA Challenger series. Both cards are free for those with cable (and of course Showtime for the Challengers series) so DVR them or watch em live. There should be quite a bit of nice fights on both cards.

So it was a jammed packed weekend on the virtual battlefield. I played way too much Call of Duty World at War, but that's not my fault. They extended the double xp by one day. UFC 99 - The Comeback was very dissappointing. There were two decisions that I feel were complete and utter crap, one more so than the other.
The card opened with Marcus Davis vs Dan Hardy. This was IMO the fight of the night. What a great opening fight. It was back and forth with lots of brutal shots and just all around good fighting. I don't have an extreme amount of PS3 games, around 25, but many of them lack replay value. One thing I love about PS3 is the free online store (and free online in general). I had imagined that Strikeforce would not keep the EliteXC feel of things on Showtime/CBS and I'm glad I was right. I sure did not miss the bimbo cheerleaders.

Sometimes it seems that the world is against me when I try to play Call of Duty World at War online. It's not that the game isn't good or anything there's just some issues I have with the game and the Playstation 3 Online in general.

2) User system (signup/lost pass/maybe small profile)
3) The blog (browse cats, posts, comment on them)
4) Photo Gallery

It took a while but I've finally been motivated to delete WordPress, which bothered me so much, and write my own site and give it some good ol TLC.
So I decided one of the most obvious things to do was to create a blog and to do that I needed to create the very form I'm writing in right now so I can, hopefully, get some people to read it, or something.
At the moment, the site is still in development. It has been moving along pretty fast and hopefully within the next week or two ... (post trimmed)
