Diablo 2 Ladder Reset with D2 Patch 1.13 Official

I had heard through the grapevine yesterday that some activity over on d2jsp might of indicated that a Diablo 2 reset was coming, but I hadn't heard anything confirmed.

If you play Diablo 2 online than you know that this is pretty much the biggest deal in the game these days, and obviously this peeks my interest due to my Diablo 2 Item Store which is pretty busy already but is majorily busy on reset times. It's hysteria I tell you, so I think I'm going to have to put off my other projects for a while should the ladder reset happen sooner than ladder.

So I loaded up the bnet forums and found this official post by Blizzard confirming a ladder reset is imminent. They say as early as the end of April holy smokes that's less than 11 days. Knowing Blizzard though it will be in June, like the last two. It makes sense because while lots of adults play games, ecspecially D2, so do a lot of people in school and school is out then (usually).

Knowing my luck it will be the end of April though, because I have other plans. So it looks like we'll be entering season 6 of Diablo 2 Ladder shortly. Give it 2-3 weeks before level 99s are on there, probably bots that won't be banned, and give it another week on top of that before everyone cries to reset the d2 ladder again! Ah... good times.

From an earlier post by Blizzard on their forum which requested user input on new features or bug fixes for the 1.13 patch I'm going to go out on a limb and say the majority of the same problems will exist. One thing I do hope for is a bigger stash size, but who knows. I don't think I'll be playing anyways.

I am super excited and dying in anticipation for Diablo 3 though. I only pray it does not take as long as StarCraft 2 to come out.
