I made too many noobs cry on Double XP

So it was a jammed packed weekend on the virtual battlefield. I played way too much Call of Duty World at War, but that's not my fault. They extended the double xp by one day. So what started as a 4am "I'll play till they stop at 9am" turned in to so many hours of playing (because they didn't shut it off) that it's almost embarrassing how long I sat there owning noobs.

Now, I like to own noobies like everyone, but not the low level guys. No one cries harder than Prestiege 10 Level 65s! That being said, I had some interesting messages from some of these people during my play. Now, I know everyone thinks they're good ecspecially at that high of a level but I hate to bust your bubble. Being a prestiege anything doesn't mean you're super good. It only means that you decided to restart over. There are a lot of non prestiege players who don't prestiege and are leaps above the prestieged players. So people, like myself, who only have been playing for 2-3 months or so may only be low prestiege but we're leaps above the higher ups. That's just life, man. I've been playing FPS, albeit primarily on the PC, since 1999. I've probably logged more FPS hours in my "career" than an infant has years of life (okay, maybe not that much but you get the drift).

Because my goal is to entertain the very very few readers who come to my site I've decided to share these lovely messages. Some of them are pretty damn hilarious, whilst others are kind of sad. Perhaps these guys spent too long power boosting in domination and forgot that real targets don't run up to them and sit still? Either way, they're just another set of noobs who've felt the excessive force dished out by yours truely, TheGreatBtizzle (that's my PSN id, feel free to add me!)

Now, the funny part is that he felt like he needed to send me two messages. As if I couldn't make out the first one. I don't think people understand the term "camper". I'm definitly a "run and gunner" but excuse me for being able to monitor the hud and my screen without any hitch in my game. I know when you're coming if I have a recon. I've also played way too much FPS in my life. Excuse me for knowing the key to success if figuring out where people camp/nade/etc and exploiting that. Sorry you were one of the "campers" that whilst you can kill most using that lame shit I'm too smart for it. You're not as good as you like to think, and that's not my fault.

This one was the funniest because I don't use juggarnaut, and when you die you can watch a "Kill Cam" that not only shows you the last 5-8 seconds of the players POV who killed you but the perks they use. I rarely die in a gun fight so why would I use jugg? I die from betties primarily, or nades here and there (mostly riffle noob tubes but that's another blog entirely..). He could of just sent me a message saying "Wowzors BT you're like omfg so good can you teach me". So I went 92-8 on DOME, big deal. I've seen someone go 130-25 or something on it now THAT is impressive. You'd almost need to hit artillery+dogs and die immediatly so by time you kill people with them you get them RIGHT BACK (this is how I got to 92). I've done maybe 5 games on DOME out of a million with 90-97 kills but I've never hit 100+ kills in a game. He should be bugging that guy because even I don't know how the hell he pulled that off (he was on my team).

This was a real good one. You had to of been there, but luckily it happened not too long ago and I can shed some light on the scenario. You're on a roll. 10 games in a row without lag, a drop, host pussying out to end the game because he's getting rolled, etc. You're doing 3-4:1 ratios easily (I tend to average around 2-3.5~) and an entire group of prestiege 10s come in, most 65 some mid 50s. Anyways, as I was saying, you've seen it. You're like "awwe shit", well not me. I of course feel I'm probably going to get owned quite a bit and fight hard for a 1-1.5 ratio maybe 2 but I'm down. As long as we can get HQ points I don't care. I'll worry about pure kills after prestiege is over, like these guys are doing (and I get it, but I'll still fight). ANYWAYS, I roll them all. I go 63-14 on courtyard. Worst of all, I wasn't using a silencer. I was using the mp40 drum so they should of easily killed me a bunch (I'm usually stealthy). Now, I admit, in their minds I was totally a haxorz. How can a prestiege level 6 rape their whole clan? It's because you're not that good. The problem with that strategy of using a whole group of people to play a game can easily dimish ones skills. Most people care about their ratio so in any situation it's at major jepordy they leave the game. I didn't. I also had a prestiege 7 guy who also kicked ass in their two. He went something like 40-20 or something. I don't know if he got a message too, but, I guess I can understand how they would be a bit annoyed because I rolled them all but can you even cheat on PS3? I don't think there's wallhacks or aimbots but who knows. I think again too much power boosting for these noobies have left them thinking they're way better than they are. Then again, who am I to accuse him of doing that? It's only a hunch, but unlike him, I'll keep it to myself. I would say that being called a hacker is the most annoying.

This one happened happened last, before I logged off for the day (so around noon yesterday). Yet another prestiege 10 level 65 (do you see the pattern here?) So there we were on roundhouse... by this time I was worn out but they still had double xp on so I was on a what seemed to be the 1000000th game I played that day. By this time I wasn't even playing for fun, just playing for the next icon. So I was 41-1 about 8 minutes in to the game and I get this message from him. It made me chuckle because I had not realized my ratio until I got the message. I guess it did look a bit odd, but what I did notice was that I broke my streak record! now it's 30 which seems so low compared to many but it was 27 for what seemed like 2 months. I'd always hit 20-25 and die (and usually can't get higher than 15 unless we're on the dome).

As per ususal, I sent a witty reply and added them to my block list and continued to play. I wanted to make him leave the game, even though his team had won the last 2 games. At this point I wasn't playing to cap any HQ just to slaugher people. I was so close to prestiege 8 that I was on a mission no one could stop, ecspecially this kid. Anyways, hey dipshit ever heard of satchel charges or maybe a n 74?. They should be mandatory on a tank map for anyone with a brain. I don't think ANYONE on that team had either of them. Someone did have bazookas but it's kind of easy to dodge ranged shots in a tank if you stay halfway behind walls and such. Finally the next map after roundhose, the god awful knee deep, I hit prestiege 8 and finished the map and left the game to let him do better. See what a nice guy I am.

So... I felt like I played for 4000 hours straight by now but I wanted to grind out the mp40 and possibly betties if I could before double xp stopped but I just couldn't go on after level 10 so I quit. I booted up Call of Duty around 1am tonight to see if I could hit 24 for betties but sadly they disabled it. F@$T$!@%R#! and more #@!$ couldn't you leave it on just a bit longer? There should be some penalty. Like, if you forget to turn it off on time you have to leave it on for X extra days. Now I'm annoyed I didn't play just a bit longer. I hate not having betties. It's only then I magically get nothing but SMG maps. When I have them, I get nothing but tanker maps. That's call of duty for you.

On the bright side, I made 4 new friends. I'm sure most will delete me after I never join their games. It's not BY CHOICE, I swear, but you'd need to read my why call of duty sucks (hey, I still love it!) blogs for more about why.

On a final note, I didn't buy the map pack2, which was the reason for the double xp weekend. It always happens with a new map pack launch. Out of map pack 1 I think I only like one map out of it, if that. I wasn't paying $10 more for a game that has too many problems just for some more maps that probably suck. They're camper maps, or spam maps only. Nothing really in the middle or very good. Plus, everyone got map pack 1 free now since map pack 2 came out. I'll just wait it out for a map pack 3 and get the second for free. If they don't make a third one, well, I doubt I'm missing much. Some of my cod friends told me that the new maps weren't that good anyways.

That's it. I spent most the weekend just playing call of duty. I'm loving the prestiege 8 icon. 9 looks ugly, but obviously I'm going for 10 so I can be done with this game. I won't play it too much since double xp is over. I got Resident Evil 5 from GameFly I want to play that. I'll let you know what I think about that game when I'm done.
