Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

YES! I have it. I couldn't wait on GameFly. Well, actually I somehow lost the shipping sleves and can't send anything back to them is more like it, but alas I broke down. I even went to Wal Mart to purchase it. I've been waiting forever... if you recall I totally loved the original as you can see in my horribly bad Uncharted: Drakes Fortune Review for PS3.

Alright so I run out to get it and get home and play it. It looks great just like the first (it actually looks a lot like the first). Now, I'm only half through right now (and I think I'm going to play after this blog) but I was thinking I'd let everyone know that Uncharted 2, so far, has delivered.

The jist of it is the same. You're the same guy and there's a new adventure awaiting that involves Marco Polo this time. The story is good, as is the gameplay. I found it easy to remember the controls and so far am enjoying all the little puzzels and stuff we get to see in Among Thieves. You'll also see some familiar faces, which is nice as well.

I can't say much else right now as I'm only 51% through the game but so far it's been as bitching as I hoped. I really love this series and the style of gameplay is never boring. It could be because you never really backtrack in this game so it's never really stale, or it could just be the 3rd person shoulder shooting is fun compared to the normal FPS. I also like the mystery adventure part of it.

Either way, I'm wasting time here when I could be playing, right? I also suggest you add Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to your GameFly queue or that you go buy it. I've gotta say I don't like to spend $60 on a game and I've got my far share of crappy buys but this won't be one of those.

I'll let you know more when I beat it, which should be within the next 2 days depending how long I can play for. Alright, must go ... PC bad ... PS3 good.
