So I finally own a Firehawk Trans Am

It all started when I was around 16. I think every kid dreams of a sports car but I had this thing for the Firehawk. For those who do not know what a Firehawk is it's basically a Trans Am that goes to SLP (Street Legal Performance) for tons of enhancements/upgrades and comes back with a whole lot more bling and power.

I think the fact it's a Limited Edition series car, and also is no longer produced made my desire to have one grow more. Of course, the fact I was destined to be some bum for dropping out of high school and “could never afford one” could have inspired me a bit more. Fast forward a few years, and a few companies and have enough cash to spend on toys that it's not a problem, but finding a good hawk for sale? Almost impossible, and I mean impossible.

Finally, two years of searching pays off. I recently aquirred a 1999 Firehawk Trans Am #461. Now it's fully legal and around $25,000 later (did I mention it's nice to pay for things in cash?) I'm the proud owner of this V8 350 HP beautiful piece of machine.

So now that I have a new toy I figured I'd just like to send a big fuck you out to all the people who tried to shit on my dreams in general. I'm also fortunate that I'm mentally strong and have achieved so much success in life to be able to get my dream car. I was debating the Ferrari Testarosa, but I had to be a bit more realistic; Insurance would of been too steep on that and I honestly don't make that kind of money haha. =[

For those Missourians out there, more importantly, those around Franklin County come on down to the Car show on June 3rd in Union (at my Uncle's Restraunt: White Rose) to check out the car and meet the ol' Great BT. Actually, I don't know if I'll be there due to work but my Hawk will be entered none the less.

The last thing I'd like to say is the people out in cyberspace who always have wanted something but have been told so many times you cannot have it and to quit dreaming I say this: Don't quit dreaming, if you have no hope you might as well not be alive. You can have anything you desire if you work hard enough and believe in yourself. As Cartman would say: "Follow your dreams, you can achieve your goals. I am living proof. BEEFCAKEEEEEEEEEEE!"
