What happened to my cigarettes?

So, a few days ago I head in to a gas station to get some cigarettes. As I'm asking for them I'm kindly told "we have those for $1 off a pack if you want". "Sure", I replied. Well that's nice of her I thought (probably her job, though).

I go outside after purchasing them, light one up and I instantly notice something "is off". They taste... different. Nasty, perhaps stale, and they don't stay lit for shit. They have a tendancy to go out every 10 seconds or so or go out , re-light further down, go out again, and start backup. This results in .. well, the cigarette more or less falling apart around the cherry.

Semi-iritate, I decide not to go back there. Usually I get them somewhere else, but this place was closer at the time. Well, I go to my normal spot and grab a carton. I light one up and again.... what the fuck. It's the same shit.

Meet the new, FSC (fire safety cigarette) -- Boy, what a fucking joke these are. Fire Safety? -- I've actually burned two holes in my shirt from these falling apart. Yeah, they fall apart. Granted, they do go out abuot 20 times while I'm smoking they sure seem more of a fire hazard than before.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that this is really stupid, but, perhaps it's a good thing. I've debated for a while to just roll my own tabacco. It's real cheap. That, or I could just smoke drugs I guess. It's actually cheaper to get some crack rock or heroin than it is to get 4 packs of smokes these days. I'm just kidding, I don't smoke crack or take heroin, but, it is cheaper.

So I think after this horrible carton is done (if I make it through) I'm going to get me a tabacco roller, some tubes, and some tabacco and go old school. It shouldn't be too bad and I'll save around hmm $140 a month. Woo hooo!

Thanks government for fucking us, the people, over yet again. Oh, and take your swine flu bullshit and shove it up your ass, along side these nasty ass cigarettes. Why must you make it less enjoyable for me to aquire cancer? Hmm?
