Going to the pet store, hope I don't break the bank

I love going to pet stores because I'm an animal lover, but specifically love to look at the reptiles. You could say they are my favorite of all animals, snakes specifically, of course besides the house kitty (I love you Shadow!).

None the less, I began breeding rats about 3 months ago due to the crummy economy forcing most of the local shops out of business. The one I go to now is 4 towns away, for example. Well, I have lots of rats now and I need more cages for them so that's the main reason I'm going.

I am needing to expand due to the influx of snakes I'm getting in the next few weeks, but I feel I'll be leaving the store with more than just extra rat cages. I've wanted another California Kingsnake since my buddy Fred (1993-2006) died. Sadly I had him half my life when he died and the kingsnake is a great pet to have. Last time I was there I saw one and I almost picked it up but I didn't have room.

Thankfully I spent a lot of money at Boaphile Plastics and have room to house 10 or 11 snakes now. Only half of my cages have come in but the rest come tommorrow so I plan to post about it with pictures and stuff so stay tuned. Even if they do not have a king that calls my name they might have something else. I got to handle one of their sand boas last time I went and that little feller was awesome.

I really want a Blue Tounge Skink -- have for a few years now so I would totally foam at the mouth if they have one there for sale. They are so awesome. Awesome enough that I've actually spent time on AdTube (YouTube to you) to watch some videos of them. I'm also hoping to possibly pick up some misc items for all the new cages like water bowls, bedding, maybe some decorations but I think deep down I want to pick up some new pets while I wait for my Blood and Borneo Pythons.

Right, so, I wish it was 8:30 AM so I can head down to the store but I have to wait another hourish or hour and a half. That's actually why I'm writing this; to kill time, but I don't think it's working very well. I might of wasted a few minutes but definitly not any kind of signifigant amount.

I guess that's all, but I'll definitly be putting up some stuff on my new cages and stuff when I get time in the next few days and set them all up. I can't wait.
