So now how LOST are you?

Last week I was a little bummed that we had a little special LOST thing and not a full episode but boy was this week's worth the wait. We got a lot of confirmations and new bits of information and of course new twists.

Can you change the past? maybe not in the sense we think in [linear], but apparently you can change anything that is happening (?). That'd still mean whatever happened happened but it'd blur the future/past lines. We'd think 1977 is the past and 2004 is the future but maybe it's not in this show. 2004 happened, they crashed. It's in the past. It was 120~ days ago. 1977 is now, the present, or is it? It's hard to tell.

Did I hear correctly when Eloise said "I sent my son to that island" and Charles said "I sent my son too" and he got slapped. He did say son right? So Widmore is Daniel's father? What about what Daniel said to Jack about him not supposedly being meant to be there (1977), and that his mom lied. Makes you think that the LOSTies are just pawns in some eleborate game.

Who is evil, who is good? You know, the way they shoot the show it kind of seems dead obvious but that's never the case. What if Widmore is a good guy?. The more we learn, the more interesting he becomes and the more his actions make sense.

Oh yes, well LOST wouldn't be LOST without Richard who always casually makes an appearance. Why is he always drinking something? The guy never looks hot. Maybe it's a clue but I've been wondering that for a while. Also it was interesting when he said "He wasn't going to shoot me". Richard knows things and I want to know who Richard is so badly.

Why did Sawyer call Kate Freckles? I mean I kind of saw it coming but hoped they'd be done with that damn triangle. I much prefer Juliet to Kate, but the way she almost always bats her eyelashes before her line (as she speaks) is a bit irritating. I really hope Kate dies or something. I have nothing against her, but Sawyer+Kate+Jack thing is old and needs to be retired. I have a hunch it'll end up Jack+Juliet and Kate+Sawyer in the end, like before.

The incident seems to be looking more and more like what Daniel was talking about. Now, of course, after a good LOST episode it's like I have to go check out The Fuselage and some people seem to think that perhaps Faraday crying at the Oceanic 815 crash is going to be the end of the show. As if he was crying knowing that they crashed because he prevented the incdent from happening thus preventing Desmond from needing to push the button thus never releasing the EM pulse that crashed 815. Interesting, but please no.

If the time loop theory ends up being true I'd say it's more likely we'll see exactly what we did when they came back to the island; Jack opening his eyes in the Jungle in the same suit, again. It'd start all over...

I really am enjoying season 5. It has to be the best season yet, but please do me one more favor oh great gods of TV. Please, please, pleasee bring back the smoke monster for atleast one more episode this season. Maybe you can make Richard and Smokie fight. Just joking....

Can't wait for next week man. It's going to be great.
