UFC 100 - GSP dominates Alves, Lesnar mauls Mir

It's hard for me not to purchase a UFC card featuring GSP, but I was not intending to purchase this one at all. As I'm attempting to get this house in town I only wanted to purchase one PPV this next month and Affliction Triology is by far the better card. But hey, stuff happens.
The card was pretty predictable from top to bottom, and just as I had imagined it went exactly how I thought it would. Though the Belcher fight might of been "controversial" in the winner to some, I don't really care. Lets talk about the other fights.
Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping was the one I was most interested in behind St Pierre. I like Hendo, and I like Bisping. Bisping definitly wasn't going to win this one at all in my eyes and ended up getting knocked out brutally by Henderson with a right hand. I'm assuming this means rematch for Dan against Anderson Silva. That's a good fight. I think Dan would do much better this time around but it's still unsure if anyone could dethrone Spider anytime soon.
Georges St Pierre vs Thiago Alves
I love to watch GSP fight. He's up there at the very top of my favorites. I bought the card for this fight and wasn't dissappointed. I like GSP because he gives you your moneys worth in beating someone down. No quick KOS, no subs, just 15-25 minutes of pain. Thiago had nothing for GSP really, and GSP pulled out the decision and a pulled groin. Ouch. What's GSP do from here? That's a good question, and I have no clue. Without cross promotion the UFC is going to have hard times hyping much up. The way Anderson and GSP have cleaned out their division speaks volumes about both of them -- but also about the depth in the divisions they're in. How about cross promotion against other top tier guys instead of catch weight fights and moving divisions for both of them? I'd rather see GSP vs Jake Shields than Anderson Silva.
Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir
I'm not a fan of neither of them, but I could see my self learning to like Lesnar. I'm not much for his antics, but his domaintion is hard not to enjoy. From the opening bell he pretty much mauls Mir until the ref stops it. Props to Mir for lasting that long, but in the case of Lesnar size definitly matters.
The Jon Fitch fight was pretty boring to me. Why it was last I'm unsure of either. For a moment I thought I got jipped out of a fight. All in all, I wasn't very impressed with the card as a whole. However, it was great to watch Mir lose. It was great to watch Lesnar win. Even though I like neither one, people are going to flip over Brock winning.
It was also quit annoying the issues I had with the broadcast, but I'd bet anything that's a problem with Charter. Their cable sucks ass, and I have lots of issues with it.
Good card overall, far from their best.
