UFC 104: Shogun royally screwed, Cain destroys Rothwell

UFC 104 was a good card with a piss poor ending. If you've been watching MMA as long as I have you probably know that the Ricco vs Nog fight is often called the biggest screw job in MMA, well, not anymore.

Shogun won atleast 4 rounds, if not all 5. Lyoto did absolutely nothing but make funny faces as he got hit repeatidly by Shogun. There's not much else to say. The ridiculious referring that goes on MMA must be stopped. Too many scores seem rigged. Don't let MMA turn in to boxing. Fix this before it becomes worse than it is.

Apart from the atrocity of screwing Shogun out of the belt the Cain Velasquez fight was what I thought it would be. This guy is going to be a huge star very soon. He's just an animal.

I was dissappointed Fisher Spencer lost, as I dislike Joe Daddy but it was still a good fight. Infact, the whole card was pretty good. I particularly enjoyed watching Okami's zombie ass get beat.

I really don't want to talk about this anymore. It's just fucking horrible the bullshit that goes on in MMA. The UFC wants to brag non stopped about all their clout in the industry than take steps to rectify it. I'm pretty sure you have the pull to put real judges in the judge box. This is not uncommon, but common place. It hurts the sport; it hurts every brand. It's hard to market stuff as real when you can see the obvious winner get a loss.

Oh, and although I usually rag on the UFC ppvs I give them props for showing the prelims on Spike. I dont want to go to your website to watch them, so a big thumbs up for that.

Lastly, there's a free card November 14th with Randy vs Vera (zZzZz) but should be worth a watch since it's free.
