Oh the joys of starting over

It's all too often code, both server, client, and markup related gets oudated. Ecspecially when said code may be 10 years old!

So Monday I started re-developing another website of mine called Darktides that provides webhosting and domain registrations. This is my 6th version of the website since 2000, 4th corporate version. I'm essentially starting from scratch. New CSS, new markup, new PHP, etc.

I thought it would be pretty bad but I forgot how small and relativly simple it is, so I've been making lots of progress. I think it'll be finished for the most part by the weekend.

Working on sites that you've worked on for ages over and over is so tedious and boring but it's odd, normally I hate it, but ever since I re-developed the bterrill.com site I've kind of been motivated to make sites, and lots of them. I really enjoy it when I can wrap it up in a month or less.

So that's about all I've been doing this week. I figured that I'd inform my entire 2 person user base incase they wondered why I quit writing stuff.

For now though, I'll get back to slaving on the Darktides re-do. One day I hope I can clone myself so I'll have extra coders!
